The Food hub is Blaydon is a Gateshead Food Partnership supported of food products to food banks, community larders, social cafes and other food oriented projects across Gateshead. The hub offers delivery of food stuffs at wholesale prices (with no charges for delivery) to support projects in making their funding and donations go further. The hub can also deliver surplus food items for free. The project is run by Green Heart NE CIC on behalf of the council.
